Septic a.k.a Rai (real name Nathan Haswell) is a respected hip-hop and grime MC from Edmonton north London.
At age 13-14 he started making his name in the scene by competing with other MC's, then he moved on to making recordings with other artists but still remaining as a solo act.
Septic was working with a label at the time he was writing songs, he also released a mixtape titled "tell a friend" that he put on myspace for free, receiving over 400 hits and downloads. His lyrical content focuses on the truth's that reflects his life in Edmonton and surrounding area's, a large mixture of issues such as crime, youth and things that he has had first hand experience in.
Septic is looking to break through in the scene this year with a promo titled “An Uprising”.
He is inspired by Artists such as Nelly, Sisqo, Usher, DMX, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 2pac, 50 cent, Nas, Fabolous, and Ludacriss.
